Terms of Service

By accessing and using Review Room Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and affirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to use the Platform or submit any personal information to us. If you are using the platform on behalf of a studio, company, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the full legal authority to bind that entity to these terms. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your ongoing agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.

Review Room Studio offers a cloud-based collaboration environment featuring our proprietary Sync-Engine for real-time remote review, a Media Pipeline for automated proxy transcoding, and an Annotation Suite for frame-accurate markup.

While engineered for high precision, the platform's performance is dependent on external factors like your network stability and local hardware. Accordingly, our services are provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or frame-perfect playback under suboptimal network conditions, and Review Room Studio is not liable for technical discrepancies or delays caused by variables beyond our direct infrastructural control.

By uploading content, you grant Review Room Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to transcode, host, and transmit your media solely for the purpose of displaying it to you and your authorized collaborators. This license is strictly limited to technical operations, including temporary caching, automated backups, and the background processing required to maintain service reliability. This grant does not transfer any ownership and exists only to facilitate the delivery of the platform features to your account.

We acknowledge that assets uploaded (Work in Progress/Dailies) are often highly sensitive.

Access Control: Content is private by default and only accessible to users invited by the project administrator. Data Protection: We use industry-standard encryption to protect media during transmission and at rest. Non-Disclosure: Review Room Studio will not disclose your media to third parties except as required by law or to provide requested technical support.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the platform to distribute malware or engage in any activity that disrupts the transcoding pipeline or sync engine. Backups: While we maintain high-availability storage, the Review Room is a collaboration tool, not a permanent archive. Users are responsible for maintaining their own master's backups.

Paid subscriptions are determined by your selected tier and will automatically renew unless cancelled via account settings before the renewal date. All transactions are processed through secure third-party providers; you must comply with their terms, and we are not liable for errors within their systems. You are responsible for all applicable taxes and maintaining a valid payment method.

Generally, all fees are final and non-refundable. No credits are issued for partial months or unused time if you terminate a subscription early. However, refund eligibility may be reviewed in exceptional cases, such as a material breach of service on our part. If you dispute a charge, you must contact us within 30 days of the billing date. Approved refunds are processed within a reasonable timeline and credited back to the original payment method.

Review Room is provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of data, production delays, or missed project deadlines.

You may terminate your account at any time. Review Room reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, we may purge media from our transcoding cache after a designated period.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect platform enhancements, security updates, or evolving legal requirements. Any material changes to these terms will be communicated to you via a prominent notice on the Review Room website or through a notification within your account dashboard. Your continued use of the platform after such updates are posted constitutes your formal acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page regularly to stay informed about the protocols governing your use of the service.

Review Room Studio utilizes various third-party infrastructure providers, payment processors, and hosting services to ensure the technical delivery of our platform. While we select reputable partners to maintain high service standards, you acknowledge that these third-party services operate independently of Review Room. Accordingly, we do not control, and are not responsible for any interruptions, security breaches, or technical failures occurring within these external systems. Your use of features that rely on third-party integration is subject to their respective terms and conditions, and Review Room shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from the performance or unavailability of these external services.
